- Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE):
Some texts, particularly regulatory and pharmacovigilance texts with high levels of repetition, are well suited to machine/AI translation followed by human post-editing. I post-edit to a standard where you cannot tell the text was machine-translated, whilst ensuring your data is does not train future iterations of AI. This protects both your and your patient’s confidentiality. This option, if appropriate, can save time and money. It may be suitable for: clinical trials, PV documents, internal policies, emails. - Document Translation:
The traditional, human method of translation is ideal for a wide variety of medical documents and formats, including PDFs and handwritten documents. This approach is best for content containing everyday language, idioms, nuance or creative phrasing that machines struggle to interpret. Suitable for: research articles, patient notes, newsletters, medical textbooks. - Editing / Proofreading:
I also offer editing and proofreading for articles, academic projects, and publications prior to press. Peer-review editing services are also available for nursing and healthcare-related manuscripts.
